I got kind of a starter's guitar, because I am a newbie, but don't harp on me for getting a lower-quality guitar. I got this Squire (lower-end Fender) Fat Strat Pack that comes w/ the guitar, amp, bag, etc. I went to a guitar shop and the guy said to get the Squire Pack for starters because it's quality and a bargain for a starter's guitar. He had pretty slim-pickins' for used Fenders, and all the new ones were at least $800. So rate mine on:

My sis is listening to Wicked and im quoting it over and over again. I think i was born wicked, or is wickedness thrust upon them.. IM DOING IT AGAIN! Tell me how to get it out of my head! My sis is obessed about Wicked. I Hate It!

alternative is in the Webster way offering or expressing a choice or different from the usual or conventional. so what would that make alternative music the alternative to. and if it is an alternative to just that music wouldn't that mean that every other form of music was also alternative making any music alternative because it was an alternative to something .really it just seems like a pointless term to me also isn't alternative also known as indie but indie being a shortened term for independent meaning independent from any mainstream record companies . so does that include any unsigned musician ? aren't these terms used for rock music so why is their a rock channel and a alternative channel on my tv.really this all confuses me way to much even my faithful wikipedia did me wrong . so i never know what to call what i'm listing to. this is why i hate genres your categorizes shouldn't overlap this much

Okay this is really bugging me! My friend has this song and she played it and I have it in my head, I don't like it but UGH when I get a song in my head I have to listen to it in order to get it out! Well it goes like this When I get you all alone, I'm gonna move in nice and slow, ain't no body gonna get there hands around ym game, oh no no, ever since you been hanging around i been trying to figure out what I can say to get some play yeah yeah.. why don't we do what we did last night again.. {thats all I know lol} but ugh I have to hear the song, does anyone know the name and title?? I know this is a dumb question about music videos since I always notice half naked dancers at just about everyone of the music videos while forced to view them since my sister has the remote.

This song was made when I was a young girl but I love it. I hear it on the radio (oldies but goodies) -R&B, but I always miss the artist's name. All I know is the main chorus goes like this...

And I've just got to me .... Freeeeeee..... Freeeeee.

I feel like a goober but it's the best way I can describe it. Any guesses on who this might be? It's a female singer.

It came out in probably late eightys-early ninetys. The video went like this, A really pretty woman with black curly hair was driving in the rain and picked up this guy hitchhiker, they went to a motel made love and then went seperate ways.. About a year later they seen each other and she had this kids with the same color eyes. It's just buggin the hell out of me that I can't think of the song.

Basically, I am looking for the offspring of Rock and Roll, and Soul. Over the years everything has changed many times. I have wanted to purchase a guitar for several months now and think that it would be awesome to know how to play. But the only problem is that I don't know how much time I will acctually have to invest in order to play. All I want to do is know how to play a few songs and have some fun. But I don't have three or four hours a day to spend practicing. If I only spend thirty minutes to an hour practicing/day will that be enough time to accomplish anything? I would appreciate any words of encouragement or even just honest opinions! Thanks!

I don't understand what they are supposed to do because in the book i bought it says that you are supposed to play the chords with the song but are you supposed to hold down the chord and just play that string? I don't understand this book at all...It shows a chord and then in the song below the chord it has the chords i the song...how do i play the chord while playing the song? Whenever I do this ( which ii don't think i should because it doesn't sound right..) i think that im doing something wrong....thanks
