My friends and I are starting a band and are looking for some semi easy songs to play just to get us started playing as a group.

We have a beginner bassist, beginner drummer, and a seasoned guitarist, and a well versed singer.

All I have heard the past couple days is Ex-pres. Ford. I understand he was president and everything, but give James some love. He is a legend and music icon. Think about the influence he has had on many other successful artists and the music industry as a whole. He has been part of America's pop culture and I feel a bigger story than Ford.

It's a bunch of people who think they are hardcore, and they really aren't, and they suck at everything else in life, so they have to create the stupid lyrics and sing them, my 6 year old cousin can come up with better lyrics! They don't even have any vocal talent.

The Dynels were from Fort Lee, New Jersey and recorded on the Dot label around 1958. There were at least two other groups called the Dynels or Dy-Nels which recorded in the 60s but these have no relationship to the Fort Lee group.

The video showed a sort of marching-band thing, I'm fairly sure it was called 'For America', by 'something or other BOX', perhaps Red Box?
One of the lyrics was

"All this peace and understanding, go drum guide us round and round'.

Anyone?
