Pretty Hate Machine
Broken
The Downward Spiral
The Fragile
And All That Could Have Been
Still
or
With Teeth

I pick The Fragile - it's so huge and introspective. I like the absence of vocals on most of it, not because i don't like TR's voice but becuse the music doesn't call for it. What do you think...ohh and if you don't like NIN please don't post any replies idiotically stating that "Nine Inch Nails sucks" i don't want to hear from you OK.

I am living in Johannesburg, South Africa. Been muslim yes we are having a 'holy' day on the 31st december. My very good guy friend owns a club & I normally get VIP access into his place & functions that they are having. Another friend of mine is a DJ & sometimes go with him where ever he is DJ'ing to club/rave whatever it may be.

Just that this year I wanna be different & if it means me scalling my wall,as dinner is at our place, with the elecrtic fence & alarm (GOd knows how still) just wanted to know of other places of which i could go to or do. As well as how is it possible to scale a wall with electric fencing without activating the alarm?

Swass -- Sir Mix A Lot
Supersonic -- JJ Fad
I Wonder If I Take You Home -- Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam

Please list the new song & artist.

Isn't that what rap was criticized for in the begining? I guess everything comes full circle. I think the only difference is rap used popular songs to remind you of/celebrate the original creativity, while the artist using the music mentioned above knows that teenagers know nothing about the originals.

I have to explain to my 11 year-old why I know the rhythm or WORDS to a song that was newly released.

Keep the HISTORY of music ALIVE!

I'm doing an English project where I have to make a CD to describe a book. The book I chose to do the project on is a book about slavery in the United States in the 18th century. I'm looking for modern music with lyrics that have to do with cruelty, hate, and horrible mistreatment. All the music I listen to is way too happy.

Please recommend me songs about mistreatment. A large part of the book had to do with rape and beatings, to be more specific. My only preference is that I'd prefer the songs not to be rap or heavy metal.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

What comes to my mind is bluesy lyrics and distorted classical music. Simply bu-ti-ful.

I'm 17 and I truly listen to everything but other people my age won't give bands like the dead or jimi hendrix a chance. Is that wrong?

I'm the lead guitarist, I started the band, but the lead singer sings shock rock in kind of a rap tone. The drummer plays old 70s country. Then the bass is like obsessed with Paul Mccartney, so we are all mixed. I play kind of a "dude rock" type of music. What should I do? The sound of the band is retarded.
