I pick The Fragile - it's so huge and introspective. I like the absence of vocals on most of it, not because i don't like TR's voice but becuse the music doesn't call for it. What do you think...ohh and if you don't like NIN please don't post any replies idiotically stating that "Nine Inch Nails sucks" i don't want to hear from you OK.

I, too, would pick The Fragile. You said it well - it's huge and introspective...really I couldn't have picked better adjectives. I saw them on The Fragile tour and it was an awesome show.
As a sidenote, Pretty Hate Machine has aged about as well as a block of moldy cheese.

If you're going to put in the live albums then you should put in the remix albums as well.
not that i would be choosing one but.........
ultimetely i have to say that all of them are so different that its really hard to say but i guess its between The Downward Spiral and With Teeth all of the albums with the possible exception of Pretty Hate Machine are great but the greatnes of those two is much more compressed than the greatness of The Fragile.
but..........

I would pick The Downward Spiral...I think that it has the most amazing energy to it.

the downward spiral.....it feels to me like it was very experimental, and was quite different from anything else out at the time (or at this time for that matter). it's also one of the darkest albums, which i really enjoy.....there isn't a song on this album that i don't like!

spectacular! i like this mashup and concept-approximately it as quickly as i observed the heading "beatles & 9 inch nails followers?". its definitley one in each of my time-honored mashups and that i agree, lennon could probably are turning out to be a kick out of listening to it.

None of the above. "Fixed"- a UK import, has different interpetations of songs on "Broken"
