One good tip is to feel like your top, back teeth are being pushed up when you sing. This is a visualisation technique to raise the soft palette and with practise you will find it easier to reach harder notes. There are many techniques such as bracing, giggle and strengthening of the head voice but you will need a good vocal coach to instruct you. If you are serious about your singing you really need lessons to reach your full potential. You should give it a go because you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Get a vocal coach to improve your range, or sing in falsetto.
