I know this is a dumb question about music videos since I always notice half naked dancers at just about everyone of the music videos while forced to view them since my sister has the remote.

Technically I think so...but then again, I not sure...maybe it mandatory for such or something. Do you think so?

Yes. I have to agree with you. and no its not a dumb question at all, its just a matter of paying attention to things. I think the same way that you do!!!Why is it that they have to always use naked women on these music videos?I guess people will do anything for money or to make money. Unfortunately these woman have more respect for money then for their bodies.Go figure?

It is true what they say - "Sex sells". And I think that we as a society are so used to seeing those images on TV that they have to get racier and racier to get our attention. Although, some studies have shown that violence is on the rise and sexual images are on the decline on TV in general.

To make them appeal to the lowest common denominator. When music has to resort to non-musical themes to gain attention, what does that say about its esthetic content?

yes they even consult with porn producers for the video i forgot which producer stated this but that is where i learned this

you are right. I actually find a lot of it offensive, and I'm no prude. It's evereywhere we look nowadays.
