I have two choices on where to do my bachelors in Chemical Englineering

1) Go to Mcgill University in Canada
2) Go to the university of Manchester in England

It would be more practical to study in Canada because it is so much cheaper than England but People have been telling me that there is a certain stigma that people have about graduates from Canada, that it is not as respected as studying in the UK ( even though Mcgill is ranked higher than the University of Manchester) .

Is this is true ?

I am 21 years old, am a junior in college and am trying to decide my next step. I have a few options: 1) graduate and move to Berlin with my fiancee (I loved it there when we visited, but am nervous to move that far from home; he would love to go), 2) go to grad school (I'm a straight A student and hopefully wouldn't have a problem getting in), 3) move to Canada and go to grad school there. As you can probably tell, I'm disillusioned with America and would love to leave. However, is it easy to get a Visa for Germany? As for grad school, I love English and would like to continue with that but don't know if I have the dedication for it. Any advice on any of these topics would be soo helpful for me. Thanks!

I'm looking into this interning abroad program in London, and this organization says that it will place me wherever my expertise is, but the thing is, they won't tell me what company they're pairing me up with until I pay for the program in full. Is that odd?

They said that if I don't like the company that they placed me with, that they'll find another...
but still, isn't the situation a little weird?

Anyone with study/interning abroad experience please give me your two cents!

Thanks!

I am a sophomore in college currently majoring in business management and marketing. I would like to go to somewhere that isn't too expensive and is safe. I would need the classes to be in English because my Spanish isn't so good. Right now I am considering Japan, Mexico, Spain, Germany, France, China, Hong Kong, and United Kingdom. Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

its about the articles(a or an and the).

for example, when you are with someone, you say " can you see THE bird on the tree?" or " can you see A bird on the tree?"

what is the difference between these sentences?

I was thinking of majoring in Graphic Design. During my junior I wanted to study abroad in England. What would be a good school to attend with a Graphic Design major? Or should I just forget the study abroad idea?
