Hi there Honeydine,
I think the very reason America is requiring it's citizen to study abroad is because it wants all Americans to empathize and be globally aware of what's happening around the world. Yes, we do have the internet but it's different when you experience it first hand.

To get better jobs! To have a stable career. Most young people who study abroad are the ones who come from poor countries and they believe that studying college in Europe or north america will make their lives better, which is half true.

People just want to see a little more of the world and experience life outside their own culture. I'm always amazed when people DON'T want to travel....We, as Americans, tend to view the whole world from where we sit on the planet rather than getting out and seeing it up close and personal, and I think it's a shame.
You'll never appreciate home more than after you've spent time away from it.

students are interested to study outside their country as they don't realise that what they are going to study abroad they can study in their own country.some think this as a show off. some plan to study there and also find a job there and live there forever.

Ooh, I myself would love to study outside my country! It would be a whole new experience for me - a completely unfamiliar environment, networking/more friends, and a chance for me to learn how to stand on my own two feet.

Its a new experince. How often will one reallyy get the opportunity to travel besides when their young unless they are going into a career where its mandatory.Plus when you're older you have good stories to tell. Also, its a good thing to put down when looking for a job
