I was curious if anyone had a count...

A friend of mine that I have lost touch with is studying medicine there, and I am thinking of hopping a flight to try and meetup/find her/surprise her...

Any help as to a number is more than welcome, or if any school is more probable than another...Thank you in advance

It all depends on how you define University. For example, a lot of Russian universities are referred to as Institutes and Academies, but they really mean Universities. Also, there are those Universities that are referred to as University.
