I got a low score on the GRE in the verbal & writing sectons, but my analytic section score is very good. I'm taking the test again in november. I was wondering if I only solve the writing/verbal section and leave the analytic section, is that ok? I don't want to do the math again and get a lower score. Please help I searched ETS no info I even asked no response yet. Thank you in advance.

Im taking the SAT test in a month, i wanna do my best in it, but i dont know how to study for it, i seen some books for it but they are way too xpensive, so i dont know where to study from.

any ideas?

I really want to study well and make a good grade on this test. I have 12 pages of notes to learn in 12 hours exactly. How can i study this well? Any and all tips are welcome. Its just that I rarely study.

660 and 610 on two SAT IIs (my highest so far), 1700 on my first SAT although I have improved it and I will be taking it again. 23 on my first ACT although I have taken the test again.

However I have a 3.85 GPA with 2 APs junior year and 5 senior year. I took one college class concurrently with high school my junior year and one more in the summer after. I got As in both classes.

I really don't think my test scores are good indicators of my ability or will to succeed in college, but will the admissions officers see that?

I really want to get in, any advice would be nice. Thanks.

There's this class my school is offering for SAT/ACT prep is offering but it's $500 and that doesn't seem reasonable. I did by the princeton review book, is that enough? Does the princeton review website that the book recommends provide a free online course or do you have to pay?

Critical Reading: 54
Math: 76
Writing: 74
Composite: 204

What are my chances of getting National Merit (Semi-) Finalist recogntition next year (as a Junior)? I know I can improve my current scores.

I JUST GOT THEM AND THE THING IS THAT WHEN THEY REPORT THEM THEY SEND THEM TO ME IN SECTIONS SUCH AS MATH-111, WIRTING-100-AND CRITICAL READING-100 ....WHEN I GET THESE DO I ADD THEM UP TO GET MY OVERALL SCORE?(P.S THOSE ARE NOT MY ACTUAL SCORES!)
