OK, I have a Chapter AP Biology II quiz tomorrow and in order to get an A- I have to get an A.

I have been using notecards but they take WAY!!!!! too long to make, memorize and understand.

Also, making an ouline doesn't cut it for me...

What can I possibly do to study for cell communication (in Bio.)...what's a great method that works exceptionally well for you? Be detailed if possible...

I have about 5 hrs to learn everything!

THANKS!

I got a D in anatomy! Aaaa! It was so hard! I don't want to take it again. Is a D a passing grade in college? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm new at college. I got A's in everything else so it shouldn't hurt my GPA.

I have been granted with full scholarship by our governament to get education in foreign country but to be able to evaluate that opportunity ı should get at least 80 from TOEFL ibt untill may of 2008. at the moment ı got 63. I think this is the highest score that ı can do. perhaps ı am at the level of 80 right at the moment but the problem is that ı cant pass the exam because exam is different ı mean there is a time restriction and it distracts me ı cannot focus on to the exam while taking. So is there any one to help to do not miss such a big opportunity.I know people who has gotton 80 and their english are same to mine even lower. What should ı do to proof my english can ETS help me about that. Maybe ı should take other exam wıthout tıme restrıctıon or something . ı dont know what to do. please help me if you can ı am waiting for your answers thanks.

I just took the quiz on their official website and got that:

Your score was 22 out of 30. That is a very good score—you would have a good chance of passing the Mensa test.

Does that means I could actually be part of the Mensa? Do you think I should go take a test over there or is it a waste of money? I don't beleive I am part of the top 2% of the world.

Is the real test like the one on their website?

I just took the PSAT today and one of the options that could be "corrected" was her their.

For example: They gave her their homework.

I chose "her their" as incorrect. Did I choose the right answer?

My IQ is 130 on the Stanford-Binet scale. Entry for Mensa is an IQ of 132. This is frustrating... will my IQ vary if I take the test multiple times? Or will it increase as I get older? (I'm 15)

Oh ya, in the IQ test, that's my age-adjusted IQ.

Say you took the SAT or the ACT 2 or 3 times. Can you choose the one best set of scores to send to college? Or should you include the number of times you've attempted and the scores for each?

I'm doing an essay taking the stance that animal testing is right, and one of my points is that there are strict regulations surrounding the tests.

I know there are, because I just finished doing a debate on this topic and my group member had brought this one rulebook type thing in and it was amazing... only I can't find it. Any help on this matter would be great!

UK sources, I'm afraid, are irrelevant, though, because I live in Canada. I think the regulations manual thing was international, though.

Thanks in advance!

My teacher said that no one is going to fail the first exam because he is adding a curve. I emailed him for my score and he replied "your grade is a 102 without the curve". Does this mean that I get higher then a 102 or lower. I know he likes Gauss alot if that helps.

If a person is retaking a class and they use past exams to study from. Even if after taking the first exam it's obvious that the questions are (for the most part) the same only switched around. Do you think a person could get into trouble for this?

I'm a senior, my unweighted GPA is 3.75, my weighted GPA is 4.75, I'm taking 2 APs (AP English Literature and Composition and AP Biology) and 4 Honors classes (Pre-Calculus Honors, AP bio lab research 1 critical thinking Local Honors, American Government/Economics Honors, and Physics 1 Honors). However, when I took the SATs for the first time in June this year (2007), I scored horribly: verbal = 420 , math = 470, writing = 420 / essay = Lv. 3. My counselor said my scores do not match my GPA at all. What can I do? When I answer the SAT questions of the day I answer the verbal questions wrong most of the time and the writing question wrong all the time. How can this be? I do not seem to improve at all. It doesn't make sense to me. I need help fast otherwise what good can my GPA do if I score poorly on the SATs and end up not going to college because of that? Help me! 1.) How can I improve? 2.) Is the ACT easier than the SATs?
