My teacher said that no one is going to fail the first exam because he is adding a curve. I emailed him for my score and he replied "your grade is a 102 without the curve". Does this mean that I get higher then a 102 or lower. I know he likes Gauss alot if that helps.

It is hard to know because with a real curve, what would happen would be that some grades would go up and others would go down. However, his statement about no one failing the first exam suggests that what he is going to do is to move all grades, or perhaps just those at the bottom, up. People use the word "curve" rather loosely when it comes to grading.
