I just took the PSAT today and one of the options that could be "corrected" was her their.

For example: They gave her their homework.

I chose "her their" as incorrect. Did I choose the right answer?

That sentence is grammatically correct. It means something like

Susan and Bill gave Mrs. Jones Susan's and Bill's (or even Jan's and Rodney's) homework.

Do you remember the other answers? If you did process of elimination and that was your only answer then it must be correct. The sentence seems fine. It's like saying "She gave him her homework." and so forth but I could be wrong.
