My first attempt of the SATs was horrible; I got a low score. Though, I do get good grades in school I have a 4.3 GPA (not trying to brag, I'm just trying to prove a point). Is this normal for a first time?

I have actually improved a lot since then. The math and writing sections (grammar and mechanics) do not seem that difficult anymore. I still need to improve on thinking more quickly to fit the time limit, analyzing the critical reading section more effectively, not making careless mistakes and brainstorming on the essay. Any tips? I know one of the keys is to think logically and critically. Is the Guide Paradise as helpful as some have said it to be? I really want to get a good score. I believe I can do it. I believe anything is possible; I did improve on my scores tremendously.

Which center should she register for the exam?.. is there a difference between the two centers, particularly on the type of questions and level of difficulty asked in the exams?...

Will be taking an exam in 3 weeks times, starting from 23rd november, Is there enough time for me to prepare if i start working hard now. Does anyone know where can I take the TOEFL Test in SG?
coz I live in Macau, and will go to SG this coming Dec, I want to take this test in SG, does anyone know where can I register this test? and when will be held? thank you!

P.S. If I leave SG after the test, how can I get the certificate of the TOEFL Test ?

For those of you who have taken the general GRE, is it hard?

Also, for those of you who have taken the subject test in English and Literature, is that one hard? I've been studying the practice test and if the real one is anything like it, YIKES! Any pointers you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Oh - and I'm taking the computer version, if that makes a difference.
