Hi, i am 13 years old and just recently took an Online IQ test
my question for you is, is a score of 108 considered a good score for a 13 year old?

more information:
on my last report card i got 5 A's and one extremely High B.
In all of my life i have only had three B's
i am in the 8th grade
and all the rest of my grades were A's
i am an honor student

The online tests are designed for adults. The test results are saying that if you were an adult with your present ability at IQ tests then you would have an IQ of 108. However, your intelligence is still developing. If the online test is accurate then your actual IQ, taking your age into account, will be higher (maybe quite a bit higher).
You need to find an IQ test which takes account of age.

Most IQ tests online are written for adults. If you really want to know, try to find one that's age appropriate. Your parents may already know from tests you've taken at school, but I honestly believe you're better off not knowing your own IQ at your age (my mom wouldn't tell me). Even with a high IQ, you still need to study and do well on your tests and projects. No one is going to give you good grades (or lots of money when you grow up) just because you have a high IQ. Just do your best at all times, and do good work, and no one will care what your IQ is. No one will even ask what your IQ is, and you won't put it on your resume' when you're looking for a job as an adult. Keep in mind that a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean you'll be successful in life. Lots of people with the highest IQs never figure out how to make money with it, and a lot of them don't know how to interact with other people.

An IQ of 108 is good. If you took the actual written test, would do even better. 90% of the population has an IQ of 100. Hope you are studying hard, cause you are planning on some kind of school after High School, aren't you?

ok- no offense, eigth grade courses are easy. Watch ur grades when u move up into the ranks of a freshie though.
And if u have a 108 ur above average- about 120 is high. And standard IQ tests (off of the internet) aren't that accurate. if u reallly want to know go to a shrinks..

Congrats. You're a teenager with normal intelligence. Online IQ tests aren't real measures of IQ. Take off 5 points:)
You need above 130 on real IQ test like SB9 to be consider really intelligent or genious. The average person is between 100 to 129.

IQ tests (not necessarily online ones) are geared toward specific age groups. You could probably talk to your counselor at school and take an age appropriate one.
108 is above average. "Average" is between 80-100 on an IQ test. Below 80 is considered mentally retarded. 130 and above is considered genius.

IQ I believe stays the same no matter if you are 13 or 63 108 is on the high end of average.

I took the Iq and i got a 113 when i was in 5th grade. My grades are ok my mom thinks they're horrible, i usually get 3 or less B+. But i think you got a great svore and many people wouldn't do as good as you did.

I think those online test may not be accurate. In the meantime, your IQ does not neccessary directly related to your age. It 's directly related to the way that u learn and think. The more u learn , the smarter u are. You do well in the school doesn't mean that you are a genius , it may also affected by the other factor.( such as the amount u put in study)
