I just can't even concentrate on them? And I keep getting distracted my yahoo answers and messageboards.
WHat should I do??!! ;::goes crazy

Whatever the subject, just write out what you are trying to say, as if you are writing to explain it to a friend. Don't worry about structure.
Then after you've done that, you've got the info down, now edit for structure. Add in a starting paragraph, organize what you've written into supporting paragraphs by subtopic. Clean up the text and add additional info where necessary to clearly make a point. Then finish up with a conclusion that sums everything up.
Trust me, it's a lot easier now then it was in my day with pencil, paper and typewriters. We had to think about structure as we wrote it. You can write, then easily go back and give it structure.

No - it's not really hard to write essay. Just start a good opening sentence and you're on the roll. Also, sign out from Yahoo Answer and completely concentrate on finishing your essay. That will do, I promise!

Writing is hard work. What you should do is brainstorm. Try to create a thesis statement and then organizer your paper according to your thesis statement. Once you do that start fleshing it out with details. The HARD part however is creating the thesis statement. Take frequent breaks until you create something you like. It is a good idea however to write down your ideas even if you think they are stupid. It's hard to get started but if you start writing anything it might help get things going.

Writers Block...that empty page in front of you...get inspired about someone or something that you already have an interest in this helps alot then get the facts from wikipedia.

first of all.
relax
then don't jump into writing the essay or you'll get lost.
take your time..brainstorm..then make an outline..
1)intro
2)body
3)conclusion (just restate what you wrote in your intro into your conclusion)..
