does anyone know any good books i could check out for x-ray interpretation, i'm a 3rd year med student and id like to learn the basics

All 12 graders in high school would be assigned an apprentice position in the field of their choice leading to the career they've chosen. They could receive either full or half the minimum wage. Progress monitored by the school district. This should discourage drop outs and it would increase their self asteem and prepared them for the future. What do you think?

out of 500 schools in india around 85% hav made evs as a compulsory subject in school i do feel it is very necessary but at the same time students dont feel like studying the subject why is that i really want 2 know ppl pls post in ur views!

My son's teacher yells and screams at her class. At lunch on the first day I heard her tell one boy "was I talking to you? No, I wasn't so shut up!" On the third day my mother took my son's inhaler to him and she witnessed her smarting off to the class, but she was super nice to my mom. Yesterday my son told me that his teacher told them about a school shooting where the shooter pulled the fire alarm so the students would come outside and he could kill them. Today she told them a little girl burned up in a school fire because she had her shoes off and was trying to get them back on. I'm at my wits end because this is only his fourth day of third grade!!! Now, he says he is afraid to go back to school!! I've never had this problem before. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi I have a 5 year old who will be starting kindergarten in a week and the school has yet to determine whether or not it will come to our house or meet us down the street. We live on a cul-d-sac and there are no other kids on our street that will be riding the bus. The problem is the road we live off of is a dangerous road with hills and blind entrances. Does Illinois have a law that requires the bus to stop at a safer spot. I guess I always thought for the little guys the bus would come and stop in front of their house. The school he will be going to is not large at all, maybe 30 kids per grade which goes up to grade 3, so the amount of kids is not the issue and the bus has room to turn around on our road without backing up.
Thanks in advance for the advice or help, a caring mom for Illinois.

Hey, guys! I'm in the 8th grade right now, and I'm having a hard time deciding which school I want to go to. (I live in Michigan, I don't know if that's important or not, but whatever.) The schools are Novi High and Northville High. I want to go to a school where I know several people. At Northville, my cousins go there, but they are a year older than me. Or something like that. There is a girl that's going to Novi, that I know, but I don't really like her. She's a girl who goes to my school right now. My mom wants me to go to Novi, because she said that the bus could pick me up. I live in Novi, but the Northville bus comes by my house every day. My cousin who goes there told me that. My mom said that I could probably go to either one, and that my brother could drop me off at Northville, because he can drive. But he's three years older than me, and when I'm in the 10th grade, he'll be going to college (sp?) and he might not be able to take me. So where do you guys think I should go?

i am!!! i am going to be in the ninth grade in highschool. i am soooo exited about it!!! i will get to do more things and joing more clubs and i will finally get to have lunch on my own instead of going with the class and i will get to see my friends!! i am overwelmed!!

I'm 18 , I'll be 19 in October. In 8th grade I pretty much dropped out of regular school and opted to attend an "Alternative School" for High School which is basically a smaller version of High School with tutors and less classes. I only did well enough to get my GED which I'm almost finished with.
For the last few months I've been horribly depressed almost every day.
My only friend has a MySpace page and I can't help but look at it and see all his friends, good times and great pictures from in High School. He went to so many parties, had so many friends/girlfriends and seemingly had a great time.
I had NONE of that. I've been pretty sheltered for the last few years and have no social life. Now my school years are basically over and I feel like I'm forced to grow up. I'm going to community college then maybe a university but I'm still so depressed it makes me sick. How can I feel better all of this? I can't really relate to anyone. I wish every day that I had stayed in school

ok, i am wanting to go to college to learn how to study the animals life in the ocean. The way the inter act with each other and what they eat how much and how often. Whether the travel in schools( like fish) or solo. And things like that i don't want to study the plants only the animals. I need to know what it is called when you only study the animals.

I'm doing my +2. I've lots 2 study. I sleep for 7 hours/day. I want 2 reduce it to 4.5 hrs. Help me. Does studying with table fan induce sleep? How 2 study- sitting or walking or lying on a cot?Will going 2 bed at 12.30 & waking up at 5 help me?
