Hey. I might hav the ooportunity to work for BJ's wholesale club. I was wondering how much they start their employees off at. Also, do they offer benefits?
Please, help. I have yet to recieve an answer and I posted this question at least 20 times. :(

I think my 3.4 unweighted gpa is pretty low for their standards (that's with lots of AP classes)...I scored 2390 on the SAT & 800 on the physics, spanish, and math II SAT subject tests. I don't do many extracurriculars or necessarily "stand out" at my school..however, I did win some piano and art competitions, & I was semifinalist for the biology and math olympiad

My parents want me to get into Harvard but their acceptance rate is reaallly scaring me

My school is a very tough private high school in the US and I was told that that my school uses a different GPA scale. For example:

If a student gets an 85% in English class then when calculating his/her GPA it will be counted as 3.0, but in my school it will automatically be counted as a 3.5 instead of a 3.0.

What I'm asking is if this is correct and not something false someone at school told me. Do some prestigious private high schools use a different GPA system?

First of all thanks for answering my question!!! Here's my question: I'm a senior in high school, and I would like to know what to put under "Education" since I haven't graduated from high school yet, I don't know what to put under that section. My mom doesnt want me to go to one out of state. but i want to be a lawyer and as far as i know there isnt one near by. Also i dont want to be away from my boyfriend. i love him very much and i dont want to be away from him for that long of a time. the only way i can even go to college is if i get a scholarship. but there arent that many i can choose from being from middle class. also there are times when i feel i dont even want to go to college because i see alot of people around me who didnt go and they seem ok. and then there are times (like now) that going to college is the most important thing in the world that i can do. cause it would help out alot finacially. i have had people tell me that becoming a lawyer would keep me away from my family and i dont want that. i want to have a husband and kids and be able to spend time with them. i need help!!!

hi! I have to pick a character from the world war I time period and write in a journal telling whats happening in the war and how it affects me everyday for school. In my journal, my characters husband is drafted to go off and fight. I was wondering if any of you knew how that happened, like if there was a letter sent home saying he needed to go fight or what. thanks!

I have great reviews and have taught every grade level including college. It seems that now, since everything is done electronically, that I never even get to show my face or even talk to anyone so I have to sell myself with my resume. Still, I don't even get an interview sometimes. I have applied at colleges, universities, public and private schools. I am located in San Antonio, Texas, am certified as both a secondary English teacher, as well as an all level counselor. Any advice?
