well what I mean to say is it is hard to get a good life long job that pays well and hard to know where to get it and what you want to do is hard as well.

These days of job hopping, and consumerism all around, it is hard to find any life long, good job at all! so, don't look for perfection, settle for the available average, satisfactory job coming your way, suiting you somewhat, adjust well to the job, then gradually settle in for good performance, tuning yourself well for gradually doing well in life!
don't hesitate to change jobs, when a good opportunity comes along!

People want a job that they will love. Sometimes that means getting a job that doesn't pay a high amount. There are exceptions, however. For example, an author creates a best-selling novel and makes millions of dollars (such as J.K. Rowling).

In order to get a high-paying job, you must be very good at what you do and choose a job in a high-paying field.
