After a study was conducted, they found that the students who did homework did not do any better on tests than the student who did not do homework. Homework cuts into family life and other activities. The kids are tired when they get home after a full day of school and sometimes the homework issued takes 3 to 4 hours to complete. This is crazy and I think that homework should be stopped nationwide. What do you think?

i'm in the 9th grade & My english teacher always randomly chooses people to read out loud the material we are reading.....
he ALWAYS picks on me......when he does... my heart starts beating really really really fast and i start to tremble and i get really nervous. When i read outloud i have a shaky voice.
i dont know why im getting this.... i used to always read out loud before and i never had this problem..
help me!!
how can i feel comfortable to read outloud without all of these crazy feelings?

I don't know how to study for the SAT or how to improve on the one i just took in March!! The next one I take is on May 5th! I need a good score, to get a scholarship! My Critical Thinking score was a 540. My Math score was a 400. My Writing score was a 520. See i need to improve all across the board. Any tips on how i could do better would be very appreciated. I feel so lost and sad. I really thought i was smarter than this :(

I am putting this mail on behalf of my cousin.
He has completed his Graduation in Hotel management 5 years back.
He had worked in different capacities at different locations (India as well as abroad).
Currently he is working in Kuwait.

Considering the overall work experience and contractual kind of work in his domain, he is looking for shift in career from hotel management (hospitality industry) to some other field including management /IT etc.
