Well i was skipping with a couple friends and we were hanging out in his trailer for two classes after lunch and when me and my friends sneaked back into school and waited for our parents to pick us up, my mom told me she knew i was skipping when we were in the car because well i'm failing math and they called her to discuss this problem and they wanted to talk to me so they called the class i was skipping and i wasn't there. In conclusion my mom got really mad and was all disappointed but like really whats so bad i have a decision whether or not i should go to school. This is my 15th time but my first time getting caught but i was asking myself all day and well whats so bad about skipping ?

at my school, we have "spirit week" the entire week before the homecoming football game. all of the grades is assigned a color and they need to decorate a hallway, pick a theme and do activites. it really promotes unity and pride!

my class' color is red and our theme is las vegas. we have tons of good ideas. on t-shirts that we are buying, we had a black-jack dealing cardinal (its our school mascot) with the cards with numbers that add up to the year we are graduating. we had a slogan that said "always bet on the class of 20..". we all LOVE the idea, however our class advisors think that the administrators would not like the idea of betting and would consider it gambling (which we are NOT allowed to include). we are trying to think of a new slogan...OR (preferrably) another word to use instead of "bet".




all help appreciated, but please do not answer just to recieve points.

I just had a parent teacher meeting, all is well except that my 7 year old boy has problems paying attention. The teacher says he seems to be daydreaming quite a bit. He needs to be remided often to stay on task.

I am looking for exercises we can do at home that will help him lengthen is attention span.

in normal american schools kids have 5 days a week of school.but in japan,china and many other countires have 7.our are kids getting anough education?studies have shone that kids that go to school 7 days a week are smarter than kids who dont.but other studies have shone that kids who have school 5 days a week have a social life such as friends boyfriends/girlfriends exc.please consider the following before you answer.please answer with saying 5 days/7days if u want a reason.

OK. I'm struggling to death. In Science.
First of all, I hate the teacher!
She gave us 30 problems to do in 5 minutes; while some with calculators were permitted to use them!

I HATE this kid who sits behind me and it feels like he's wiping boogers on my back or something, he is so annoying!!!!
[Can you help me resolve his dumb face?]--Help me deal with him??

I think I'm soon about to fail!
I have 2 worksheets that are about 50%.
My original average was 100!
But those 2 papers I got 50's on counted only as 15% of my total average!
I wanna know how many 15% 100's I'd need to get my grade up to at least a 90!

i'm currently in class having to watch some stupid video tutorials things on "speech" for my speech credit, and as i looked up at the screen, something caught my eye: the bullet points said something about "getting the audiences attention"

i know for sure that they mispelled "audience's"

if you're referring to a certain object which belongs to someone, you always use an apostrophe, if the subject comes before the thing they "own."

i noticed that in this case, she used what seemed to me like the plural of the word audience, instead of adding an apostrophe, s.

then i wondered if that was really the plural of the word.
actually, i'm quite sure that there is a plural. i just wanted to look it up and i couldn' find it, so someone please reasure me?

And, Is "audience's" correct when referring to "the audience that belongs to someone"?
