You got online to ask this question, which means help is right under your nose. Try typing in terms, concepts, whatever...under Google images and if you see something interesting, visit the site. There are various "how it works" sites, too. Surf around and make it part of your homework to find something interesting. It would help if you defined WHAT KIND of science. Could you add that? It's a huge field, so it's impossible to be uninterested in ALL of it.

And I wonder if it's science, or math, or the many terms used. Problems with math or not spending time to learn terms will cause problems and lead you to hate science. But the problem then isn't science.

It's very common to hate what we don't understand. What interests you? Can you relate it to science? Is there any way you can get some extra help? Don't feel that because you are having a hard time in the subject that you should just forget it.

If you're not great at learning from the textbook or handouts (I'm not), try paying close attention in class, and if you're still having trouble, see your teacher after school some day. A 1 on 1 session with a teacher can be very helpful sometimes.

Try asking your teacher about sections you don't understand. It often helps to try to visualize what you are reading.
