I've been wearing glasses since I was in about 3-4 grade.. and I'm now a senior in HS.. I was wondering.. how would I improve my eye sight without any surgery or contacts?

i'm an eighth grader @ a school in southern california. and i'm having what people might call a panic attack. at my school, parents going to conferences are mandatory. that's okay. but the STUDENT HER/HIM-SELF going to the conference is also mandatory.
AND.
here are the questions that I really, really want answered...
*is a B- (or lets say.. an 81) bad considered to teachers, adults, and parents?
*i have a B-.. will the teacher say anything about it?
*what do you think the teachers will talk about...?
*will it be really awkward?
*should I be scared?

in all my other classes, i'm doing okay. B+s, A-s, As... but in SCIENCE with the weird science teacher that has a weird accent so that we dont have any idea what we're hearing... i'm getting bad grades.
ugh.

I'm interested in being a lawyer, but not sure which kind. Interior Design is very appealing but i don't know anything about it really, like where are good colleges for it. so i was talking to this girl and we are kinda like joking around i realy dont know her that much so i want to have a good impresion, i came from a new school and she asked me do i know this guy named john in my old school and i said yes. John has a car that has T.V and some kind of good stereo equipments stolen. and stupid me i kinda want to make a funny good impression. so i said that i stole this guy's stereo and tv equipments which i really didnt, i really wanted to be accepted but now this girl really think that i stole this guys equipments which i really did not. now she called john, and john told her that he was going to my new school and he is going to kill me but he got the wrong person. what should i do???

The school my young teen goes to in the next town over when parent and teacher conferences go on we parents have to show up at the school and wait in long lines to speak to the teacher about our child (mind you in public talking about private issues).
I am wondering is this a normal way that middle schools do these conferences? I do not remember doing it this way when I went to school.
I would rather not go to these and missed this one, however I do care about my teens education. Just not comfy about talking about my child's personal issues in public! I think my child might be embarrassed by this. Living in a small town privacy is hard to come by (gossip, gossip).

When I do get to talk to the teacher they just don't seam to care what I have to say..

How many of you out there feel the same way I do?
Would you like to talk about your child's private issues in public?
Is this the way your school does there parent teacher conferences?
Do you feel this is just small town backwardness
