All blood sequence centers might want to take care of marijuana use a similar as alcohol: If donor artwork force can hit upon the smell of marijuana or alcohol, the fellow would not be allowed to donate on the instant. This has no longer some thing to do with intoxicants contained in the blood aspect; the quantity latest might want to do not have any result on the affected man or woman. The alcohol or THC might want to, even as blended with the shortcoming of fluid volume and pink cellular mass, boost the prospect of submit-donation reactions which comprise dizziness, fainting, nausea, and so on. FDA finding out regulations do no longer mandate drug finding out for volunteer blood donation. A friend of mine donated blood when he was stoned. They asked him questions about his medical history and history of drug use. They asked him if he had ever used drugs. He told them he'd used weed. They asked if he was high at the time. He answered yes. They told him that his blood could still be used.

They don't use blood from drug users who use needles or who have a risk of having HIV and mad cow disease. I'm not sure but I assume THC can either be filtered out of the blood or it doesn't effect the recipient.
