a presumption is an idea that you have made without knowing all of the information. a little different than a prejudice though, becuase people base their presumptions on past events. Like, you could say to someone who is always late, "We ordered dinner without waiting for you because we presumed that you would be late."
despair is an intense sadness that is usually cause by a very serious tragedy. you could say that many katrine victims experienced despair when they lost their homes and everything in them.

There is also verses which say that some sins you can simply say a prayer for and the sin will be forgiven, but not for those which cause "death" There are a couple of times that the bible refers to sins which cause death and those which do not. Fundies will often times disregard these verses and reply with verses which state that the punish for all sin is death and that all our actions are but filthy rags to God and that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. TRUE!.. but none of these verses contradict the others which say there are 2 kinds of sin. At the very worse, they seem to pit scripture against scripture and create contradiction, where none should exist.
