My daughter is in pre-k at a montessori school. Cant tell you how bright she is! My son starts next year. They offer a kindergartin and we want to encourage this education. Its costly and we dont have much. If we start but have to move them to public school will they do poorly because theyre not being challenged anymore? Should we wait until later on? Whats your opinion on private school/Montessori? From experience do you feel its defiently a huge help or all boils down to parenting?

okay im way way behind in school i basically took a year off last year and im trying to turn in 55 assignments this week and i have turned in about 12 now i still need to turn in alot more and i was wondering how do i do that many befor saturday morning and i have chores and alot more to do but i dont kno how im gonna pull this off and i dont understand alot of the work...ive talked to the teachers and they have given me breaks on this but how do i keep everyone happy in this!?!

My childs has special needs and I felt he was falling behind at shool. I pulled him for a year to help him get caught up in the areas he was struggling. I have re-enrolled him, but they will not allow him to graduate. He tests higher than a third of the students on the ACT and test about average on the state exam (MEAP). It seems they have a vendetta against home school. I have talked with the vice principal, principal, and superintendent. They have been misleading in statements and unwilling to change. What steps should I take and who should I contact to allow my child to graduate from the high school. Other schools may allow him to graduate, but when I asked him about attending another school, he said he would rather stay at the high school that he had attended. I have had 3 other children graduate from the school with honors, and have 3 others that will attend the school as well. We are in Macomb county, MI

i work on an aboriginal reserve in north east saskatchewan. I signed a contract that states that i would work 10 months a year and have june july and part of august as my days off. I recieve pay for the whole year. Our administration follows the provincial salary guidelines. The problem that i'm experiencing is that they pro rate my salary. What i understand is that if l leave work for a day or two weeks then they adjust my salary to a lower pay scale since i was not there for those days. Is this legal and if not what can i do..?

I live on my own and i find it really hard to get the motivation to actually get up at 7 in the morning just to go college when i could stay in bed and meet up with mates who live in the same building of flats as me and have fun. I would really like to know if there are other people out there with the same problem or just anyone who could give me advice on how to make myself go seeing as i have been in my second year of college for three weeks now and only gone 5 days so far!!
