My daughter is in pre-k at a montessori school. Cant tell you how bright she is! My son starts next year. They offer a kindergartin and we want to encourage this education. Its costly and we dont have much. If we start but have to move them to public school will they do poorly because theyre not being challenged anymore? Should we wait until later on? Whats your opinion on private school/Montessori? From experience do you feel its defiently a huge help or all boils down to parenting?

I think that it is the obligation of every parent to give their child the best education they can.

This could be Private school, Home-schooling, or Public education.

Check out the Public schools in your area and then make your decision - there are some good schools out there. Don't just make the choice of Public School without thinking about it though.

If you decide to send your child to a Public school because of the cost of Private Schools, there are lots of enriching things you can do at home.

Good Luck!

I think Private school in the beginning is good and then if they have to move to public school they take with them the teachings from the private school as far as studies and manners go .I think that weather in public or private they can be challenged but you also have to mike the point to challenge them at home also

That depends. Are you going to teach her your lack of manners? Do you expect her to spit on people?
