" He looked at the blank wall. The girl's face was there, really quite beautiful in memory: astonishing in fact. She had a very thin face like the dial of a small clock seen faintly in a dark room in the middle of a night when you waken to see the time and see the clock telling you the hour and the minute and the second, with a white silence and a glowing, all certainty and knowing what it had to tell of the night passing swiftly on toward farther darknesses, but moving also toward a new sun." - Ray Bradbury Fahrenheit 451

PLEASE help me understand this simile from FAHRENHEIT 451

Thank you!

I'm having a real problem figuring out what to write! It has to be 12-15 pages typed double-spaced. It basically just has to be literary based, something written in a book, magazine, poem, maybe a newspaper or MAYBE comic. I love the autor dean koontz. I also was thinking something about a Japanese manga reflecting what was going on in japan at the time it was written or about the time era it is soposed to reflect. I also like Elvis, maybe something about human behavior. Or something about secret codes/messages in novels. I want it to be something that ineterests me that way I can talk a lot about it and wont have to worry about length! PLEASE HELP THANKS FOR READING!
