Easy.. take 500 x .30.
This is pretty basic math... Look at it this way 30% of 1 is .30
100% of 1 is 1.
So... 67% of 500... = 500*.67 = 335

Please read the following:
1) Well first of all, practically, there is no actual way to multiply a "%" with a ordinary number. So, change 30% to .30. To change a percent to a decimal, simply move it "left" two times. To change a decimal to a percent, vise virsa, move it to the "right" two times.
2) So now your left with .30 of 500. "Of", is a math term for, "multiply". So it'll be .30 x 500.
3) Now multiply .30 and 500.
4) Your total is 15000, but make sure you move two times left, because the problem contained it as well.
5) So your final answer is, 150.

okay, 100% is 1. If you have 100% of 500, than you have 500x1=500, you have all of it. For every other number under 100 percent, place a decimal in front. 99% is 0.99. 5% is .05. 10% is 0.1. you catch my drift? So if you want 30% of 500, you need to multiply 500 by 0.30. That gives you 150
