I am taking a creative writing class, and we have to write poems. I am good at composing stories, and other things, including journalism, but poems are not my strong point. Any easy tips on how to write a poem that actually makes sense, and is written properly.

I need to include and aphorism in my speech about lowering the legal drinking age to 18. The speech is about how teens will do it in moderation, and there will be less of a problem. I am already done with the speech and know what an aphorism is. I just cannot think of how to place one in my speech.
