In my English ll class we have to write a summary on the 3rd and 4th chapters. I can't really seem to get into the story enough to read. Can someone give me some of the main ideas? And don't say anything about doing your own homework. Its great to have help.

I'm giving a speech about the dangers of apathy in America and I have quotes and everything else I need but I cannot find a good story about apathy or the danger of apathy. I tried searches and everything I could think of but I cannot find anything. Do you know of any good story of apathy or a place where I can find a good story? thanks

What could be a thesis statement (or universal truth) for "The Wizard of Oz"?

...I was thinking of something along the lines of, "You don't need a heart to love" or "You don't need brains to think" except put together into a more unviersal way, like, "What you have doesn't matter, you can still love and think no matter what." .......

But any other ideas are really welcome too :)

Can anybody please help me! As a project, our french class is conducting a debate. The statement is: Perfumes should be banned in our school. I have looked on the internet and have found absolutely nothing to my liking pertinent to this topic. Therefore, if ANYBODY could please provide some points relevant to why it's our right to wear perfume, that would be great!
