This is from the last line of the US Declaration of Independence:
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of the divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

This passage is meant literally - were the signers of the Declaration to fail and be captured by the British, they would almost certainly be executed for Treason, have their estates seized by the Crown, and be permanently branded as traitors.

Without the full context it's a bit ambiguous. Overall, it means that to achieve whatever goal is expressed, you will die, give up all you own materially, and even sacrifice your honor. You offer it all up. It's like a promise to give it all up.

Good Luck!
