You need a hook to get the reader's attention. Brazil is the only South American country that does not speak Spanish as it's official language. You might begin there. Without knowing what the main points of your paper will be, it's hard to tell you how to start.

start by telling where it's located, it's population, etc....check out Brazil on Wikipedia. In writing a paper always put in your own words, never copy it directly, and you can add at the end where you got your info from.

Start it off with a general idea. Try to attract the reader with the opening sentence to draw them in. Start off with the broad or general idea of Brazil. You could start it off with a question.

well what you do is you get a fact and then put in in your first paragraph like so
Brazil is a very popular country... then do a fact on how many people are there like It makes a home for about...(how many people there are)

1st paragrah-3 questions
2nd paragraph-answer 1 then give detail
3rd-answer antother get detain
4th-answer another than get detain
5th close by restating questions

You should start your paper off with what you are going to talk about in your paper. Here is an example "Right know I am learning about Brazil. Here is what I am going to talk about............................". Good Luck with your paper.
