well 60 per dozen is equal to 60/12 which is equal to 5, so it is like 5:1 or 5 times as much

If you have 60 things per a dozen, thats the same as 60 per 12 items (since a dozen is = to 12)

Let's say it costs 60 dollars for a dozen donuts. That means I'd have to pay:
60:12 (60 dollars, for 12 things)

This can also be a fraction, so it can be written as 60/12 which reduces to 30/6 and then goes to 5/1

So 60 per dozen would actually be a 5:1 Ratio
