A solution is the number(s) that can fit into a problem to make it work correctly.
For instance. X + 1 = 6
The solution is X = 5
An equation with two variables means there's two letters.
This could be like X + Y = 6
For this, there are a large amount of answers, and they are written in ordered pairs, as shown below.
{ (4, 2), (5, 1), (1, 5), (2, 4) ... }
An equation with two solutions however, only has one variable (generally speaking) and also contains a squared number making it quadratic. That would be like shown:
X^2 + 4X + 3 = 0
Two SOLUTIONS will arrise, which are:
X = -3 , -1
These then are written as ordered pairs:
(0, -3) and (0, -1)

From what i know on equations (not very much about vocab though) that this would be a Multi-Variable Equation
To find the solution of these, u usually use the System of Equations
Like i said, my math vocab isn't great ( i only know 8th grade vocab) so don't like depend on my answer or anything.
