i have a few pieces i need to have checked. mostly just to pick upon the stupid little mistakes, although help with expression would be appreciated. they range from about 300-500 words. any help would be much appreciated.

there is only one or 2 teachers at uni, and they are bogged down with exams and assignments, and don't do checking for their students anyways

Why don't you post your question in English on the French version of Yahoo Answers? They're multi-lingual so they shouldn't have a problem translating your question.

it seems they are actively looking everywhere except where the child went missing i heard there was no point in them returning to portugal as the trail had gone cold yet they go off to america which is thousands of miles away from europe......but where the money is on the chat show circuit i heard someone slag off the police detective who has written a book about the investigation and accused him of being a wannabee celebrity the mccanns have used their child's disappearance to acquire a kind of desperate celebrity status....they even had an audience with the pope when they could have been looking for their child in the early days of the investigation they preferred to jog and play tennis ......hardly desperately searching...then or now
