There were more than three things that occurred with the end of WWII that were directly or indirectly caused by Hitler. A few I could list would be

1) the near destruction of the entire Jewish population of Europe that had been over 10 million before the war, but was just over 4 million after the war was over.

2) the end of fascism in Europe because he brought the other great powers finally together to destruct nearly all the fascist states in Europe with the notable exception of Spain that finally removed that party from power after the death of Franco in the 1970's.

3) He actions brought about the reality of two major Super-powers facing off against each other (the USA and its allies vs the U.S.S.R. and its allies) which brought about the Cold War which would last for nearly 45 years after Hitler's death (and longer than his Reich lasted.

However, instead of getting my opinion or others - why don't you read up on Hitler at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler and form your own opinions.

I could write about the formation of the United Nations, the State of Israel, the end of European Imperialism, and more as things that happened due to the actions of Hitler and Nazi Germany. It is really for you to come up with your own three things and defend them that is really important.

1) The buildup of the German army in defiance of the armistice signed at the end of World War I that limited the German's army and navy.
2) The illegal occupation of Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia (even though Poland was occupied at the invitation of the Russians).
3) The bombing of England by the Nazis and the increased hostilities against the Russian border after the non-aggression treaty was violated by Germany.

Also, the Japanese alliance entered by Hitler forced the United States to become directly involved, due to the increased Japanese hostilities in the Pacific (which ultimately culminated with the bombing on Pearl Harbor).

Hopes that help.

Hitler's nonaggression pact (Aug., 1939) with Stalin allowed him to invade Poland (Sept. 1), beginning World War II, while Stalin annexed Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia to the USSR and attacked eastern Poland; but Hitler honored the pact only until he found it convenient to attack the USSR (June, 1941). In Dec., 1941, he assumed personal command of war strategy, leading to disaster. In early 1943 he refused to admit defeat at the battle of Stalingrad (now Volgograd), bringing death to vast numbers of German troops. As the tide of war turned against Hitler, his mass extermination of the Jews, overseen by Adolf Eichmann, was accelerated, and he gave increasing power to Heinrich Himmler and the dread secret police, the Gestapo and SS (Schutzstaffel).
