A general note about vocabulary- the key to learning vocabulary and how to use it is not just to know the meaning, but also the part of speech. Nouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives. If you understand the part of speech, it is easier to use it in a sentence. You must also understand that words can have multiple meanings. Most of these words have multiple meanings depending on the context so I have tried to give you a shortened easier version. Esteem can be a verb or a noun. As a verb, it means that you value something highly. " I esteem my parents for understanding and loving" as a noun, it is a favorable opinion. I hold my parents in high esteem for being loving. There is a subtle different in word usage. In the second sentence the verb, or action, is hold rather than esteem. Tangible is usually an adjective (it describes a noun) something can be tangible. Tangible means that something has substance, is real or is definite. Cookies are a tangible reward for doing your work. Arbitrary is usually and adjective. It has two main meanings: it can mean that something is subject to judgement without restriction ( by an individual or governement or judges) An arbitrary decision was haded down. It can also mean an unreasonable ( to describe a request or an action). They had an arbitrary demand for early payment. Dextrous (dexterous) is an adjective and it means skillful with your mind or body ( hands). It can also refer to being right handed. That was a dexterous (skillful) handling of a difficult person. Subtle is also an adjective and it has many meanings. It can mean skillful, fine or delicate in meaning, sly, tricky. When a person is subtle, they are able to communicate something without putting too much emphasis on it. They kind of just slide it in. My mom gave me a subtle hint that I should clean my room ( she didn't out right say it, she kinda just wrinkled her nose and said it smelled like something died in the room) Hope that helped.

Trying to get people to do my homework in exchange for two points may prove to be a poor decision as they can give arbitrary answers which I most likely will be unable to turn into my teacher and they will still receive their two points.

In order to use arbitrary in a sentence properly, you cannot arbitrarily insert it, because its meaning is specific.
