What's your opinion of the WASL? I've read it's unreasonably difficult.
have you ever opted for the non-test assessment? what was your experience with it?

thanks in advance for your input.

I've been in homeschool from 5th grade till 12th grade. I would say that homeschool has many advantages. I can study more, there isn't peer pressure, and I can spend more time with my family. But there are disadvantages. 1 is I find it hard to socialize with people.

Are there any homeschoolers out there, who have the same problem?

For people who heard about homeschool, do you think it is better than normal schools?

I have a client who has epilepsy, in 12th grade in Upper Darby HS and has missed over 20 days of school already this year. She was just hospitalized again and the school recommended she be home-schooled for the rest of the year. The school stated that she will graduate; they will issue her a diploma. FYI: This girl is also in "kinship care" being cared for by older sister but in child welfare system which is why I am involved. With regards to the home-schooling, what is the next step?

I and my brother and sister want to try homeschooling, but so far have found nothing we can afford and few that we even liked. We're really looking for programs that send us the work that we complete and send back to get graded. We would really appreciate any information given to us. Thanks

Uses of bioluminescence
Mostly animals that use bioluminescence are found deep in oceans, where light doesn’t reach. Some species of fish have a luminescent organ on their mouth, it attracts a prey so when they are close enough they caught them and eat them. Some patterns of luminescence on animals help as mark of recognition to the color pattern of animals that live in a sunlight area.

Cyclic behavior
Cyclic behavior is innate behavior that occurs in a repeating pattern. This behavior responds to changes in the environment. The behavior that is based on a 24- hour cycle is called circadian rhythm. Animals can not predict ether is it day or night.
Animals that are active on day are diurnal, and animals that are active ate night are nocturnal. Like bats they are nocturnal or owls. Owl flat face help reflect sound, that help them search for pray at night.

If you've decided to keep your kids at home instead of at school, where do you begin finding resources?

Where do you look for books? Do you try to teach them everything yourself? What are your experiences?

I homeschool my 2nd and 4th grader and would like them to continue the AR reading program that they were in at school, is there anyone out there who knows of a web site where they can take the AR quiz on the books they have read? or is that even possiable. I just started homeschooling them after christmas vacation and they are returning to school next year so i would like to keep them in the basic routine of things that they are already used to doing. and also if there is any websites that you could tell me about that would help with worksheets and material please include them. all help will be greatly accepted , and THANK YOU, in advance for all your help.
