Yes.
Why not?
You can get an Avery ID badge kit, and find the templates on the avery.com website under "avery print". They have a few designs, you would upload your own photos, add your info, like child's name, school name, issue date, and student ID number, can be a social, or a combination of month, year of birth plus last 4 of the social for example. It is also a good idea to put the address of the homeschool and phone number (cell?), in case you ever get seperated during an outing at the zoo or some other crowded place.
The kit is big and expensive, so you can do "Avery print" on the website WITHOUT the kit. Go thru the steps, then print out your badges (one each different or a set of 10). With this plain sheet of paper printed, go to an Office Depot, and give it to the copy center to cut and laminate into a badge. They have clip-on, magnetic, and hang-style, with a lanyard. This is affordable to do!!! And quick. Check out the link below.

well if you are making your own card and not using it for Identification purposes, sure.
BUT if it is to be used as identification, the card should have a Home Schooled Student ID
Pict, name, student full time/part time
Valid date to - from or school year
Reference number(id Number)
Instructors name/ parents name and signature
students signature

Hawaii is pretty easy on homeschoolers. They are not tagged and watched constantly as do the homeschoolers in other states.
