I know the admission process of universities also consider credentials other than the GRE score. But I just want to know with the scores I got today whether I need to re-take GRE exam to have fairly good chance of getting into the online/part-time master degree program in Computer Science for the schools mentioned below

My GRE score from the test today:
Verbal: 600,
Quantative: 720
Analytical Writing: N/A (I'll probably get at least 4.0)

Schools:
Stanford University
Columbia University (CVN)
University of Southern California (DEN)
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Carnegie Mellon University - West Campus

I read that transfer students applying to an ivy league should forget about it. Is this concept true? Are transfer students at a disadvantage when applying to an ivy league school? I'm currently in one of the top community colleges with a 4.0 GPA. I'm currently in the honor society for community/junior colleges Phi Theta Kappa. I have a lot of volunteer and community service experience, and I know I can write an awesome essay. Is this still not enough to get into an ivy league college?

i really mest up my freshman year and ended up with a gpa of 3.2 with no role in any sports or clubs or volunteering and as a sophomore i am so far maintaining my grades high and also taking honors classes and one thing about the honors is that i didnt take english 2 honors because my school has a very stupid schedule which makes playing a sport for school a 6th period and that is the only time for the class so will that affect the chance of acceptance in NYU? and i am determined to maintain to keep my gpa above a 4.0 as a sophomore and also when i be a junior and senior. but now im in 10th grade and i have been stuying my butt off literally as soon as i come home from practice i study for atleast 3 and a half hours for my school, psat, sat, act

anyways will someone help me out here if i am not good enough for NYU so far and how i can improve also i am planning to volunteer and i already am in a club Newspaper (lol) thanks guys and girls 10 points for the best answer

I am currently a freshman at a community college and plan on transferring to either; Illinois State University, University of Illinois Champaign, or University of Illinois at Chicago, and had a few questions.

Both UIC and ISU say 24 completed hours at the time of the application, well what if I have 13, but plan on taking 16 next semester? Do I have to wait and apply the following fall, or? My GPA is currently a 3.5 and plan on keeping it that way.

I just basically wanted to know even though it says completed should I even consider applying for next fall?

Thank you

We met at a local resturant/bar and we were talking and he asked did I go to school and when I graduated. I told him and said '04. I feel guilty but realize to that I almost did, short of a few semesters. Now his family thinks I graduated and I feel aweful. I think I should just let it go since I'll be starting school again in January only in a different program. What should I do?

Both my freshman and sophomore years i've had a 4.0 GPA. Now in my third (and final) year my grades are dropping. Its only 1st quarter (mid semester) and I have A's in my honors courses, but B's in all of my AP courses. I know that I'll still have a 4.0 weighted GPA, but my inweighted GPA will drop. I know that colleges like to see an increase, not a decrease in grades. Even though my GPA will staty the same, will the B's be frowned upon when my transcript is being looked over by admissions officers?
