Could anyone give me feedback on their experience at university? I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that the lecturers who often hold Doctorates behave like children and everything seems to be an argument - not just on paper, I mean. I've heard that this is just par for the course and that there are extremely educated people running degree courses with little to no social skills with people.
Is anyone else out there aware of this juxtaposition of learned people behaving like emotional inept children?
And, yes, I'm aware that there will be wisenheimer replies.

I posted this question yesterday and got two responses that the school had no obligation to me.

I think if you are going to anwser you should at least know what you are talking about!

I just got off the phone with the accredation board that certifies my school and they said under federal law the school must let me finish the degree I started.

I graduated last year with an acccounting BBA and recently have considered going for my MBA but not sure whether I should go for the accounting MBA or just the general MBA. It seems like there would be more opportunity with the accounting MBA. Currently I work at a tax software company and like it, so have thought maybe getting the accounting would be better so I could eventually do taxes. But I also like the thought of being part of the management team if I were to obtain the MBA. Just hoping for opinions on whether the getting the general MBA would be more or less beneficial than the accounting one. Also, do you know what the salaries are like for both? Any thoughts?

I am interested in doing the year program for certification pastry culinarian. I was wondering if anyone knew what the reputation was of this college is and how their placement program really is like once you graduate? I hope to eventually open up my own shop later on after I get some experience of course. I do like the fact that you get your own kit (which of course I pay for) but at least you get one that includes all the neat chef things like a chef hat, apron, all the knives and gadgets that I will need. I also have the option later if I want to transfer all my credits to a degree if I want to keep going so I don't loose everything. Any thoughts? If you were interested in baking, what would you do? Thanks!
