I have been scoutted by a few colleges already but not by all of the schools that I want to go to. Could someone please tell me how I can get more schools to look at me because I am not that familiar with the scouting process. Thank You.

Question 1
How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college?
Throughout my years in high school, I feel that I have taken advantage of what my school has to offer. I have challenged myself by taking Accelerated, Honors, and AP classes. As a sophomore I took accelerated English, Honors Chemistry, and AP World History. Then during the summer, I went to Long Beach City College to take Intermediate Algebra and Spanish 3 because I wanted to be in AP Calculus AB and AP Spanish Literature in my senior year. As a junior, I took four AP Classes with two Honor classes which kept me busy especially since I was president of the French club. Being bilingual, I challenged the AP French Language exam and passed with a 4. Now as a senior, I am challenging myself by taking 4 AP classes: Calculus AB, Chemistry, Physics B, Spanish Literature, and 2 Honors classes. I took the toughest courses because I wanted to be able to demonstrate that I am willin..

1. Take two semesters of chemistry
2. Take two semesters of physics
3. Take one chem then one physics

**** In addition, if I take Chemistry, should I take the Introductory course first? If not, how should I prepare for such a class. Is there an introductory course to physics???

I live in California so in highschool I was prepped for California universities and state colleges. However, I'm trying to go to school in Indianna, Illinois, or in Portland, Oregon. In California, for example, D's don't count toward your cumulitave GPA when applying, is it the same in other states? I also took alot of prep classes (for dummies) so my freshman year math and english don't count for California... but will they count in these other states? Is there a website or something I can look at?
