Definitely University of Michigan. Since Michigan has a hospital and proximity to Pfizer, your opportunities in Ann Arbor will far exceed Notre Dame. My brother was pre-med at Michigan and was able to work for the university doing medical research. Plus, there isn't much in South Bend, and Ann Arbor is a great place to spend your college years. =)
Good Luck!

I'm assuming you're asking which school would be better for pre-med, not "medical school" as Notre Dame doesn't have one.

For pre-med, both will get you where you want to go. Both are excellent schools with fine reputations. However, the choice really boils down to which school you think will be best for you - do you want a huge school like Michigan or a smaller school like Notre Dame? Are you OK with the religious aspects of Notre Dame, or would you prefer a non-sectarian school? And so on.

As I said, I'd say they are both equivelant in terms of academic quality (and both are great!), but the decision should boil down to where you, personally, feel you will have the greatest chance of succeeding, getting great grades, finding solid pre-med advising, etc. So, do a little research on both schools -- see if you can contact someone in the pre-med advising department at both schools (do a search of their websites), and ask some questions, including about their average MCAT scores, whether all students who want to apply to med school are allowed to do so (some schools "weed out" lesser students and don't let them apply), etc.

Good luck in your search!

first of all, it is stated as the college of Michigan. Your credentials are solid sufficient for Michigan and fairly some different authentic faculties, yet i would not anticipate selective faculties like Duke and Notre Dame as "backups".

According to U.S. News & World Reports, Notre Dame is ranked #20 in the U.S. while Michigan is ranked #24. Go to their site for the complete list of college rankings.
