Attending to University as an International Student?

Question

Greetings!
I'm an International Student from Romania.
I think from spring I'll start taking some SAT2(world history, french and math2c) tests, and in the autumn I'll take SAT1 and TOEFL.
What advices can you give me?What's better for me to do?What's better to learn?What's the best way to a good university in the USA.
Now I have started to learn from some books....I think until Mai-June I'll be ready for SAT2s.
Please give me some advices that will help me attending to a good University in USA.Don't forget that I'm an itnernational student.

Focus on the TOEFL and SAT I exams first. Most universities only require these tests. If anything, try to focus on improving your English skills and getting a good score on your TOEFL since most universities require a minimum TOEFL score for admission purposes. They may not require a minimum SAT score. Do you have a list of universities that interest you? If so, contact them and inquire about their admission requirements. Try to choose a university that fits your personality and interests - not the one at the top of the rankings list. Prepare a strong application package featuring your interests, your background, your ideals, your goals, your community work and your extra-curricular activities. Schools are looking for unique well-rounded individuals, so try to portray your strengths and what sets you apart from the rest.
