For me, it certainly has. When I was in high school, I would fall back and not really care about my work. But now, this being my third year in college, I've come to appreciate education. I guess it's because of the quality of the education, the openness of the people or something.

how about you? Has college changed the way you view education, if so how? God bless you all.

Im currently an undergrad getting my degree in Media Arts but the University that I attend approches it from a purley artistic point of view. I am more production based and I want to know if there is a graduate program that wont have me pinned into artistic analysis and interpritation of film/video.

If you have a college class that requires you to do a lot of speaking and it's not speech. Do you drop or go through with it? I have a Anthropology class where we have several presentations in front of the class. I am going to guess that a lot of people will drop.

I'm in my first year of university and instead of taking the normal 5 course load, I'm taking 6. Now I love all my courses, but I'm taking a language elective. I'm torn between dropping it or not. I have no idea how the rest of my term will turn out to be (really hard or easy) because it's my first shot at uni. Every time I step towards the advisor's office, I turn around and think, "It's not that much work."

I'm afraid it will be too much work, but it seems as if this will be my only chance to take it--in other years I'll get too bogged down by my double major requirements!

Help, please.

this is the third time i am taking calculus 3 (multivariables) in hopes of passing and move on. what do you guys think i should do. am i waisting times ? Everyday i put lots of times in it , where some body else solves some of the problems easily and get the concepts faster. Some of the students have hard time as well , but i am very discouraged beacause nobody asks questions when the teacher lectures. So it seems like i am the only one with troubles. when i was taking the first two parts of calculus in eight years ago , i was doing much better. i was faster and getting the concept easier. this is the only course that i decided to take this semester and not work and still....
Also i do go to tutoring center and ask the professor some of the question , i can t ask all of the quesions because of professor's time . Seems like i need the professor to spend lots of time with me. that s not possible. is there any online supplements
