I believe it was created by Domino's.
It could possibly have come from the Brooklyn pronunciation of "nerd".
I once ordered a Domino's pizza and I was supposed to get a plastic Noid figurine but they didn't bring it. I'm still a little bitter.

It isn't a real word according to dictionary.com
I did a Google search and the main thing that came across was the Domino's Noid.

Assuming you don't mean the obscure mathematical definition of the word, "In mathematics, a minimal surface is a surface with a mean curvature of zero. This includes, but is not limited to, surfaces of minimum area subject to constraints on the location of their boundary.", no, it's a made up word.

I'm fairly certain that it was made up. I'm not entirely sure, though, because I took the commercial's advice and avoided it.
