I am pondering the idea of going for my PHD in Business Administration. I complete my Masters in November. I am curios how many Americans have a Bachelor's, Masters and PHD degrees.
I am trying to determine if the expense and time involved is worth it in the long run.

I moved 3 times within my high school life, which means I have been to three different high schools. My freshman year went okay, but because I was emotionally distressed, I didn't do as well as I could have. In my sophmore year, I came in late and tried to take as many honor classes as I could, and was stuck with all standards except for a CP science class which was the highest level for science because the honor classes were full. In junior year, I tried taking AP Calc, but that was also too full. Because I've been lagging behind with summer assignments and such, I couldn't perform well and MIGHT have to drop English.

I am planning on applying to dental school in about 2 years, so that means I have 2 years to get to know teachers.

However, I'm a busy girl working in a dental office when I'm not studying hard or in class...so I really don't have the time to 'chill' out with the prof after class and remark how well dressed he is that day..hehe just kiddin.

But seriously, any ideas for me? What did you do? Thanks in advance!

I am thinking about Penn-Foster College to get my Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology. Have any of you guys used Penn-Foster to get an Engineering Degree? How was it? Did you learn anything or was it a waste of time. Do any of you have any experience with transfering credits from Penn-Foster to another university to obtain a Bachelors degree in the engineering field? Thanks

Im in the 8th grade, and I plan on going to college when I am older. I just had some questions about college. Is a university like high school, or middle school? How do you learn at a college? Are there any required classes you must take in order to graduate? How big can some classes be? Do you make up your own schedule?

for an international student to study in universities abroad like in the UK? for eg an engineering degree costs around 70000GBP that is $135,400 in the UK for 4 years and then have to leave that country after an year or so after completion and in your native nation you cannot possibly earn that money in less than 50 years.

I am a sophomore in high school. My ambition is to get into a good college, preferrably princeton (which is near my family). In my freshman year of high school, my GPA was a 3.8, but I took 3 classes which were not weighted (but were weighted as soon as I went into 10th grade) If they were weighted, my GPA would have been a 4.2 or 4.3. In my sophomore year, I am taking spanish/ chemistry/ algebra 2/ english HONORS and AP Us History. Next year I will be taking AP US 2, AP Chemistry, Physics honors, AP English, AP Statstics, and Ap calc or pre calc honors. Anyway, I will probably have about 20 college credits before I even go to college. I also will (most likely) be on the varsity tennis team all 4 years of high school, and maybe be captain my 3rd of 4th year. Is this enough to get into princeton, or do I have to do a lot better than this?
