I'm almost 30 and have some credits at a community college. Well life sorta got in the way lol. I sorta like to be around people, but I'm finding a lot of social interaction with the internet; so I was thinking of taking classes that way. I know sometimes online schools aren't acredited and maybe a human resources person generalizes them all that way. What do you think?

Is it hard to see that the greek system on college campuses is making the college look better? Greek students make up at least 75% of the attendees at sporting events, raise money for charitable causes, and get an above campus average in GPA. Is there something that we are doing wrong? Sure, there is the stereotypical frat/sorostitute jive, but that is very far from the truth. There are only a few greek organizations that actually follow that pattern. Explain to me why greeks try to excel and become more than the average college student.

I am just feeling really depressed and like I have so many restraints on me. I have a tight schedule and it seems like no one cares or respects me. I have a lot on my plate and there are simple things people could do that would just make my life feel a little bit better each day. I feel the worst probably when I am driving. Everyone has such a selfish attitude while driving and are always cutting me off, honking and just driving like assholes. People are always getting into accidents because they just have to make the light even though its red. Why is everyone in such a rush and why can't the world slow down a bit so I can catch up with it?

Im a community college freshman and wish to transfer to USC sophmore year.USC here in southern Cali. I currently attend Cerritos College and need to decide on a major to study. I was thinking Journalism, then whether Print or Broadcast. I was also thinking Political Science. Is there a way I can see all the required courses needed to fulfill a particular major?I'm sure I will be able to either double major or major + minor. With that being said... would I be able to major in Journalism(which is the USC school of writing) and major in something else like in FILM? Even though they are completly different fields and USC accepts me for journalism? I expect to have a 4.0gpa or 3.8gpa at the lowest if I take it easy. All my classes in community college are transferable with USC, so I hope im on the right track. Also, as a transfer student do they still look at other things such as clubs and such? I heard No since many college students dont have time dealing jobs and such. Tips for getting in?
