Higher Education (University +) - August 2006

Should I get a lot of the colleged ruled 1 subject 70 sheet notebooks or should I get the 5 subject 180 sheet college ruled notebooks im trying to figure out which one would be cheaper and which one would be easier for class.

I've been feeling pretty numb to the whole leaving for college thing. Until I started packing my clothes. I finished and looked at my overflowing suitcase and kinda tripped out for a second. Well since it finally hit me ... I think the "tripping" will continue ... So my question ... how did you feel when you first left for college. What did you find out/learn when you got there?

P.S. I leave Thursday (I am writing this at 8:26 on Tuesday night)

i really like the university of st thomas in houston, but i'm not catholic. they accept non catholic students, but because they are such a small school, most of the students and activities involve catholicism. do you think i will feel weird if i go there, or will i get used to it?

they say it looks good on your college aplication.
so why do you have to take 2 yrs of foreign and do other activities in school such as clubs to get in college?
like some people have straight a's but when they apply for college they get rejected because they wasn't in a club or do sports.
why is it like that?
